Janet Shaw

Janet grew up in Bedford, Ohio and spent much of her youth in south-east Florida with her family. Janet graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Risk Management Insurance. After graduation, Janet got married to Doug and eventually moved home to Bedford, where her and her husband acquired Thomas Strok Insurance Agency, her fathers business.

Janet and Doug have two children, Austin and Evan. Austin is a Pastor in Avon, Ohio and Evan is an Agent at Shaw Insurance Agency.

Janet has been working in insurance for almost 40-years. Although very well-versed in coverage and placement of insurance needs, Janet's expertise is with the people. Her customer service and relational personality has driven the business for years. Janet genuinely looks forward to communicating and helping our clients and carriers.

Outside the office Janet enjoys spending time with her four grandchildren, reading, and refinishing furniture.
